The 21st edition of the Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) is scheduled to take place from 17th to 20th September 2025, at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur, as announced by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE). MIHAS is the world's largest halal trade fair. It provides essential opportunities for halal industry stakeholders to develop business connections and stimulate innovation across global halal markets.

MIHAS 2025 will build upon the achievements of its predecessor by targeting increased participation from 90 countries while generating RM4.3 billion in sales. The upcoming event will display 1,000 exhibitors from across the globe, showcasing a wide range of Halal-certified products and services across 14 industry clusters, including food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, finance, modest fashion, and tourism.

The International Sourcing Programme (INSP) has been announced as a primary attraction of MIHAS 2025. This programme facilitates business-to-business connections between Malaysian exporters and international buyers through scheduled meetings. During 2024, the INSP organised 3,000 business meetings, which yielded RM2.52 billion worth of potential trade value.

At MIHAS 2025, the knowledge-sharing sessions will include the MIHAS Knowledge Hub and Pocket Talks. These will provide industry experts with the opportunity to discuss trends and best practices in the Halal sector, as well as market insights.

Malaysia's global positioning as a halal hub presents significant business opportunities through MIHAS 2025, enabling companies to tap into expanding halal product and service markets worldwide. It is anticipated that more than 21,000 trade visitors will be in attendance, creating a dynamic networking environment with potential for business growth opportunities.

The registration process is currently open to both exhibitors and visitors. Further details and registration for the event can be found at www.mihas.com.my.
