Kuala Lumpur will host the ASEAN E-Commerce Conference 2025 on 24–25 November at the Grand Ballroom of the Grand Hyatt. Organised by the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living and co-organised by the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the event brings together leaders shaping Southeast Asia’s digital marketplace.

This year’s theme, “ASEAN E-Commerce Transformation: Bridging Gaps, Enhancing Competitiveness,” sets the stage for two days of practical discussions on how the region can strengthen digital trade and stay competitive in a fast-changing global landscape.

What Attendees Can Expect

The program focuses on the real challenges and opportunities facing businesses that operate across ASEAN. Topics include logistics, digital payments, cybersecurity, customer experience, regional regulations, and the technologies that are shifting how people shop online.

Speakers and panellists will include founders, government representatives, industry experts and leaders from major platforms.

Industry Collaboration at Scale

This year’s conference is strengthened by the support of key industry players, including Shopee, TikTok Shop, Lazada, Carousell and Mudah.my. Their involvement brings firsthand insights into platform innovation, merchant tools, consumer trends, and ecosystem-wide improvements.

Workshops, Panels and Networking

Attendees can join panel sessions, workshops and curated networking activities designed to encourage cross-border partnerships. The goal is to provide businesses and institutions with the clarity and tools needed to navigate the region’s growing e-commerce landscape.
